Posting the content from a book online without permission is a big no-no.

Music, videos, books, and articles are all under the protection of copyrights.
- be bunishable by law : 법적으로 처벌받을 수 있다
Doing so is a big no-no, and is punishable by law.
★ If you take content from a book and post it on social media, on a blog, on YouTube, or on an online
community, it's a clear of copyright infringement.

When I was younger, going on a holiday usually meant going to the beach.

3. get some rest : 휴식을 취하다
The hotel vacation allowed me to get some rest.
- be all about : ~이 핵심이다, ~이 전부다
It's because more people think a vacation is all about resting, rather than traveling.

- differntiate : 차별화하다
- cater to : ~에 맞추다
Some hotels are differntiating their services to cater to young gusets.
- feel posh : 고급스럽게 느껴지다
- top-notch : 최고 수준의
★ The quality of life has improved a lot these days, and people often go on hotel vacation.
1월 7일 - Honorifics in the Korean Language
1. hold a higher rank : 상급자이다
You need to show respect when you talk to someone who holds a higher rank.
2. make someone's acquaintance : 처음으로 만나다, 안면을 트다
We use honorifics when we first make someone's acquaintance.
3. struggle with : ~으로 어려워하다
Kids often struggle with their emotions during their adolescence.
- show respect : 존중하다, 예의를 표하다
- an important aspect of culture : 문화의 중요한 부분
- there is no such thing as : ~라는 개념이 존재하지 않는다
There is no such thing as honorifics.
★ There is even a Korean phrase to refer to speaking informally.
- refer to : ~을 지칭하다
- speak informally : 편하게 말하다
1월 8일 - "Kkondae" Mentality
1. impose one's views on others : 타인에게 자신의 견해를 강요하다
The goal of a discussion is not to impose your views on others.
2. make too much of : ~을 과도하게 강조하다
I think you're making too much of the design.
3. sense of entitlement : 특권의식
The Kkondae mentality is created by a sense of entitlement.

I once saw BBC, a major news channel in the UK, reporting on Korea's so-called "kkondae" culture.
